The base was kind of hard to put together not as solid as the other one I ordered. its very comfortable though and the stitching on the weather is fantastic!

The chair is beautiful and stylish. It is brown and the color is exactly like the picture on the web site. It is sturdy and doesn’t wobble. The stiches on the leather seat looks well done and solid. The back of the chair is wide and can easily accommodate my husband who is 6’2″ for myself I prefer to put a cushion to give me more support. As for my cat Foxy she already made the Rieder Butterfly Chair her own.

Putting this chair together is a bit like origami. However, once assembled it is sturdy and comfortable. We bought this for our son’s first apartment – he is 6’4″ and weighs approx. 240lbs. I was worried he would not be comfortable or the chair would be too flimsy. It is not. The leather is quite thick and a bit stiff, but like any leather product I believe it will get softer and better over time. This was a nice buy for the $$.

I am so pleased with it! It looks great in my living room and it is actually very comfortable too! The leather is soft and supple and it is sturdy enough that I don’t feel like I’m going to tip over while sitting in it. The back is slightly curved for added comfort, and it is the perfect size for lounging in. I love that it has a modern look yet it fits with my traditional furniture. I get a lot of compliments on it and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
